FURB is linked to the Postgraduate Program - Master in Education of the Regional University of Blumenau - and articulated with the Research and Teaching Line PROCEA, since 2014. The group also has an interface with the GIEPES - UNICAMP: International Study and Research Group of HE, with the purpose of integrating the studies and researches of Higher Education.

The objective of GEPES - FURB is to understand the different contexts of Higher Education, as well as the dimensions of curricular policies, methodological processes and evaluative Higher Education.

Research Lines - It is structured in three specific lines, namely:

  • Internationalization and University Models
  • Teaching professionalization in Higher Education: curriculum, methodological and evaluative processes
  • Bachelor's degrees: the curricula that train teachers

GEPES - Group of Studies and Research in Higher Education - UNICAMP

The Group of Studies and Research on Higher Education - GEPES, created in 1992 at the Faculty of Education - Unicamp, develops studies and research on different areas of Higher Education, such as: university politics, general education, university reforms, institutional evaluation, university pedagogy, distance education, curriculum, internationalization. It maintains contact with similar national and international research institutions.

National University of Tres de Febrero - UNTREF

GEPES UNTREF is linked to the Postgraduate Program in Educational Policies and Administration that operates within the framework of the Interdisciplinary Nucleus of Training and Studies for the Development of Education (NIFEDE) of the National University of Tres de Febrero in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The objective of GEPES UNTREF is to develop research and studies of an interdisciplinary nature in the field of education development, with a projection towards the educational system and national, provincial and local society, as well as at regional and international level.

Currently the main lines of research are:

  • Education and the Future.
  • Innovation in Higher Education
  • Internationalization of Higher Education,
  • Development of the Academic Profession
  • Assessment and Accreditation at the higher level

NEPPES - Nucleus of Studies and Research in Policies and Processes of Higher Education - URI

This Nucleus came about during the discussions for creation of Iberoamerican Network for Research in Higher Education. in December 2014. It is linked in the research network modality to GEPPES- SUL/ UNOESC and to GIEPES - International Group of Studies and Research in Higher Education. It is part of the International Network of Higher Education whose headquarters is the Faculty of Education at Unicamp. It has two lines of research on contemporary themes with regional, national and international social impact. In addition, it has an innovative profile in the economic and cultural insertion not only of Brazil, but of Latin America and the Reconstruction Space of Ibero-American Higher Education after the Bologna Process.
